Xbox DVD Problems

Hi

I have recently purchased a new Toshiba 37rv635db and have it set up in the following way

TV - Onkyo 506 via HDMI
Xbox - Onkyo Via HDMI (optical for sound)
Sky+ - TV via Scart
Sky+ - Onkyo via optical (sound)

The issue is that before I upgraded my tv I had to connect my xbox and tv via componant due to limitations with too few hdmi inputs on tv.

Now I seem to have everything set up correctly but when I try and watch a DVD on my xbox I only get sound and not picture.

I cant work out whether its due to the way ive set my system up or if the xbox has issues sending DVD picture through an HDMI lead? I really hope this is not the case as I can do without having to buy a DVD player!

Your help and assistance will be much appreciated as I really want to watch DVD's on my new tv!!!
