Panasonic p470 home cinema to tosh wlt66

We have a Panasonic sc -pt470 and a Toshiba wlt66 tv +Sky HD can any one please tell me what cables and i need and the best way to connect them many thanks RON

You should only really need 1 x optical cable. The Sky+HD comes with an HDMI cable. Connect that direct to the TV and an optical (recommend Fisual Pro) to the SC-PT470. Set the Sky+ HD box to 'DOLBY D' under optical output in the sound settings menu. Then when you want to view Sky+HD and hear DD5.1 (or dolby pro logic from stereo) from movies/sports/US programmes etc. simply turn the TV volume down and select the optical input on the SC-PT470, which will be called D-IN or similar.

I don't see any point in connecting an audio output from the TV to the SC-PT470 as Sky+HD has twin tuners so you can watch one programme and record another.
