How to connect PC audio to Home theatre system.

Hi there, I am new to home theatre, I recently won a Samsung 32B450 LCD tv, complete with Sky+ HD for a year, I bought a cheap home theatre system, the Philips HTS3011, I have connected everything together and being honest the sound is superb, my problem is I am connecting my PC to the TV as well, getting video to the TV is easy via VGA cable, Audio is where I have the problem,I have connected red/white phono cables from my HD box to my home theatre system, but this is the only audio input on the theatre system and I wanted to connect the pc through this as well for the sake of playing music and movies online, I can connect the audio from the PC to TV but I'm not getting an audio return from the scart into the Home theatre system, can anyone help or if you require any further info, either email or private message me, Thanks.

Re: How to connect PC audio to Home theatre system.

1. Does the TV have analogue audio output (red/white)? It will be marked with a circle with an arrow pointing outwards (not to be confused with an input). If it does, hopefully the TV will output audio from whatever it is showing.

2. There may be some settings in the AV setup to output audio over the SCART connection or try another one. Your manual should state what the SCART connections are capable of.

3. You could buy a phono switch to share the single audio input on the home theatre system.
