bose cinemate 2.1 help

bose cinemate 2.1 help

Hi i have a bose cinemate 2.1 system and want to connect it to a pioneer 2016 amp 7.1 as the sub and front 2 speakers can i do this? the front 2 speakers connect to the sub and the sub has a cable with red and white audio cables but when i connect this to the pioneer amp the sound only comes out the left speaker. can anyone suggest anything? thanks tom

It has inbuilt amplification so you don't need to connect it to an amplifier.Powered speakers - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. You can connect them directly to a TV, PC , dvd player etc. Is the Bose like that ? I don't know the technical details but I think these type of systems are designed to work only on their own.
