i am new here i have serched and cant find answer to my problem.

i have a panasonic txp42g10 plazma. i bought a home cinema system panasonic scpt460. conected to tv via hdmi cable and cable box via phono leads into the system everthing works fine untill i turn my tv into tv mode when watching normal channels the sound goes through tv speekers how can i hear this through cima system.

i mainly watch bbc HD via freesat i would like to hear the sound through cinma system any help apriciated

You will need to connect an audio cable from the TV to the home cinema system which will be analogue phono (red/white) or optical. If you want 5.1 from BBC HD, then optical is the way to go, if your home cinema system has an optical input.

thanks for the reply i conected the phono leads from tv into the cinma system but it dident work. is there and other way round this

Make sure the audio connections on the TV are outputs, not inputs. They should be marked with an arrow pointing outwards.
