Trunking and Door Ways

Hey,

Working on my setup and intended using trunking round the room for all the cables. This was for a few reasons:

1) I may move in the not so distant future
2) I wanted it all removable for cables etc
3) It can be done neatly along the top of the skirting board

However, I have come up with an issue. I need to go round the room and this means going past 3 door ways. I know I could go up and over, round the frame, but I think this does look rubbish and obvious.

So, I've been looking around everywhere for other alternatives and I'm not coming up with much. I don't want to have to go under the carpet as I would need to lift it later to get the cables and probably have to make a channel in the concrete to put them in (not a easy or nice job).

I thought about running a bit of trunking at the door threshold, but this isn't easy and I'm not sure it would look right, also the cables would have to come out of the trunking from the top of the skirting and go over the skirting to the ground (I can provide pictures if I'm not explaining this very well).

So, is there any other solutions?

Any ideas appreciated.

Thanks
