How/where to mod a Panny PD30 For HDTV

I have a Panny 36PD30 TV. In the What Video review of the 32 and 36PD30 they mention that the TV can be modified to accept an HD input. However, there are no details as to what the modification is.

The TV definitely does not take a 720p or 1080i signal out of the box.

Panasonic deny all knowlede of any mod and emails to the magazine and author of the article (John Archer) have not been answered.

Does anyone have any idea what this may be and/or where I could get it done?

If the PD30 is being used in Japah or US or Aus then it may well be possible try some US and Aus sites or email Panny Aus and see what they say, use a .com email though not a .co.uk
