Thats what I was sort of thinking of but something made of metal would be better, just a case of finding something that will work, wouldn't want the speakers on the celing as I have already put up the trunking and cut the speaker wire to size.

My speakers are at a similar hight but we sit almost beside the speakers and thats why I would like to have something to poing them directly at us because the speakers are directional, or so I have read. The surround sound was better when they were on the stands tbh, I was doing quite well at COD4 and could hear clearly the direction where people were coming from but now im finding it harder to hear people walking and I'm getting killed more
