Black Furniture Paint

Hello All,
I`m building a large cabinet unit for disc storage to be painted black, the last unit got a reflection from the projection screen and was visible in your eyeline to the side and became quite annoying, so this unit needs to have a very matt finish with no reflections.
I`ve tried proper mdf / furniture paint and although it sets hard and gives a proper coating that doesn`t mark I`ve only seen this available in satin finish which does give a reflection. The best type of black I`ve used is International One Coat Matt Black which gives the perfect dull black finish with no reflections at all but this marks far too easily, even with your hands and just spoils the finish.
I`ve thought about sealing this coat with a clear matt varnish but that ends up looking like satin and gives reflections.
Has anyone used any types of black paint I could try ?
Proper mdf paint would be the best option for durability as long as it`s matt finish not satin, ideally I want to use a spray gun for the paint.
Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
Thanks very much in advance.
Dave

I have personally used this paint International Paints - Matt Black recently for my own rack and was very happy with it not sure if you could spray it ,

I got it from B&Q it cost just over a fiver you do need a mdf primer though

Hi Smithy2307,
I use that exact paint but the one-coat version because that was all B&Q had. I ordered that one you used online thinking it would be far better for spraying but when I did a small section of the unit it doesn`t match the one-coat paint so I didn`t carry on with it. It`s odd because they look the same paint product but the one-coat is water based and quick drying but the other is oil based and takes a few hours to dry and then doesn`t colour match !
I`m wondering if the thinner paint you used sets a bit harder when it dries and won`t mark if it`s solvent based ?
Cheers, Dave.

Re: Black Furniture Paint

May well be the case, I can say that I have moved and slid my equipment on the rack I built in it has not scratched yet so maybe a new coat all over with that might do the trick...
