Projector: What cables to run in the ceiling to futureproof?

Hello,

I would love some advice and suggestions on what cables to run to my Sony VPL-VW50 projector in order to future-proof the installation.

I expect to change the projector at some point in the future (in some years) but don't want to (and won't be able to) upgrade the cables:

I've taken the ceiling down in the room (yikes, that was messy) and realised that once the Acoustic Mineral Wool is in there's no going back!

I was thinking about running a 6+ Metre pipe to house the cables from the PJ suspension point back to "Node zero" (I love that term - learnt on these fine forums!) but due to construction complexities of the room that's not possible.

So, in the next few days I have to decide the future connectivity to my PJ that will likely have to last years...hence this post.

Options:

2 x HDMI 1.3
VGA
RS232
12V trigger
CAT 5e/6

Thoughts and ideas welcome...!

Thanks in advance

Phil
