Rope light

Most of us seem to find that TLC are very reasonable. Don't forget that you'll need the mains connection kit and the mounting strip or clips (the strip gives you a better and more even fix)

Also, when you do put it up, make sure you get all the bulbs pointing out - maybe a simple tip but will make a difference to amount of light you get and how even the light distribution is.

try Hafele, they have just introduced a new range which come on 5m and longer lengths

Probably the easiest way of dimming the rope light, and I'll stand corrected by others, is to buy the home easy remote socket set and an additional dimmer (or just the dimmer and remote separately) and do it that way. Have been told/read that you can wire them into a dimmer switch on your wall, but not my area of knowledge.
