I'm soon going to start a little project, hanging the TV on the wall etc. As part of this I'd like to house my main front speakers in recesses in the wall. However, they're black and the wall is not so they wont look too clever.

Does anyone have any ideas of where I can get beige/white cloth/mesh to put in front of the speakers to hide the blackness but not affect the sound?

there is two types here a thicker and a thinner one, but you might have to call and ask if they do white

I plan to buy some of the dark grey or black for a similar purpose.

I bought some speaker mesh from my local hardware store, but that won't help you much because I'm in Finland :-)

However, since everything is twice as difficult to find here than it is in the UK, I'm sure it must be available there somewhere. Alternatively EBAY might have a source, but I didn't bother to search...
