Looking for advice on rear speaker placement please.

My rear speakers (keff Eggs) are currently on stands either side of my sofa. They are in the perfect position and at the perfect height for movie watching. The problem is my 11 month old daughter is getting more and more mobile by the day and we are worried she might knock them over and I would never forgive myself if they got damaged (LOL).
Anyway my wife wants me to wall mount them today. The problem is on one side of the sofa there is a cupboard door (3/4 height door to cupboard under the stairs). And on the other side there is a light switch.
I have enclosed photos of the situation. Where do you think is the best place to mount these speakers. (looks are probable more important then sound quality at this point).

I think I am going to mount them in the upper corners. Here is a pic showing the other corner.

Re: Looking for advice on rear speaker placement please.

Ok so I held the speakers in place to show the wife and she thought it looked a little nightclubish so I am going for just above cupboard door height. Will post pics when finished.
Never thought there would be this much interest in this.

Finished and I am pretty pleased with the result. Here is the finished article (wife and baby were sleeping by the time I finished).
I am confident this will become a 5 star thread in a few days

Yes that looks very neat and away from the hands of the soon to be toddler

You may have to wall mount the front end ones too, but it should be easy to conceal the wires behind those cabinets. What are you going to do about protecting the amp etc. ?

Yeah, the fronts are getting the treatment next.
With the amp I am thinking about a small electrical charge running through the case of it to keep small hands away from it (looking for a new unit with semi transparent doors for the ir).
