Red face Ideas needed please any ideas at all

OK, I have just decorated my living room, i'd like to get a few idea from people in the forum, I have the following:

DBOX2 running to TV via SCART (crap I know but Cable via HDMI not availible for my needs)

Media Centre Running via HDMI I made with the following spec:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+, 4GB Ram, Sapphire HD 4850 1GB GDDR3, 1.25TB, Thermaltake Case,

Amplifier is a Yamaha RX-V450 6.1

Decent sized wall for a floating wall to be mounted on. Maybe with the TV recessed into the floating wall.

Nice backlighting (the now standard TLC ropelight)

What's behind the wall were you have put the amp etc..

Hi people, behind the amp is a cupboard, I have added a few temp gages to keep an eye on the temps, also added extraction fans etc, hdmi lead is 10 metre's I'll add pics later tonight wig a bit more detail as to the actual setup ok

Do you have to point the remote at the wall where the amp is for it to work?
