Moving to a 1950 built wooden house

advise needed moving to a ex council house in 2 weeks time, it has 2 sitting rooms with one right on the end.
as their is no one attached to that side would i need to soundproof, or would they be sufficent space between me and my neighbour
I have posted a picture of the property cheers

I don't think so. Might be worth while finding out about your neighbour all the same. Do they work nights or something? I once asked my neighbour if me having my system on loud would bother him and he said, "not really. I'll just turn mine up even more."
