rewire a HDMI plug

Hello!

I would like to extend my HDMI signal to another room using something like this and I would need to remove a HDMI plug inorder to fish the cable to the other room...is it possible to rewire a HDMI plug?

I don't know about rewiring a HDMI lead but you could put a mini HDMI cable through the wall and then back to standard on the other side HDMI.

BTW There are splitters half the price of that on Ebay, just search for Neet HDMI Splitter.

You would be best off using a HDMI to CAT5e /Cat6 convertor and then you could use normal network cable to go though the wall then convert it back to HDMI at the other end!

I wouldn't like to rewire an HDMI plug. Those are some TINY wires onto very TINY pins!
