Is it possible to have a "power plate"?

Not sure if this is possible but:

my new cinema room will have bookshelves covering the plug points (2 double sockets) and I was wondering if it is possible to create a plate built into my bookshelves with switches to control the power.

i could cut holes in the bookshelves so that i can get access to the sockets but i would prefer not to...

I would rather have something like this:

A wall plate with switches to control the power to all my appliances...

You should be able to do it with these. Not 100% sure but this is what I am planning in the kitchen for sockets under the worktops
