Advice needed - fixing speaker brackets without screws

Hey fellow AVrs!

Moving into a new house at the end of the month (rented) and due to a ridiculous contract arnt allowed to put nails, pins or screws into the walls. KInd of a shame when I want to fix some new Q Acoustics 1010is in place. So have been trying to figure out alternatives.

Two of the speakers will be fixed to a standard wall, whilst the other three will be fixed to a wooden partition in the room.

My first thought was superglue. Apparently ( :S ) strong enough to hold far more than my speakers weight, and easyish to remove with a couple of hours and nail varnish remover. Anyone tried this (novel) approach?

Or, any other suggestions?

And who would just forget the contract, and screw then in place anyway.

Thanks muchly,

David.

To be honest if you are going to spend a few hours with nail varnish remover getting rid of superglue, then you may as well screw them in. When it comes time to leave remove the screws and plugs, fill the holes and repaint.

You could use gripfill which sticks anything and is solid as a rock.

Only problem is, if you leave, pulling them off will result in half the wall coming away

A bit counter productive really
