Im sure there is a far more tech way of describing what im after but im a supernoob so apologies in advance!!

Basically i have run all my cables (hdmi/ speaker/ power) under my floors/ in my wall and i have them all coming out at one point at the base of the wall behind where my amp will be sitting. This is fine for the moment as i am yet to put skirting down. When i do (put skirting down), i need these wires to come out at a central point and I would like to make this as tidy as possible.

I have considered installing banana clip sockets for the speaker cable but ideally i would like to avoid breaking the direct connections i currently have between my amp and my speakers for the sake of quality.

I guess what i am looking for is some sort of letterbox type fascia to put on my wall then i can pull all the cables up through that and feed them to my amp. Does this kind of thing exist purpose built or should i literally use a small letterbox?

Any help/ suggestions would be great!!

I think you can buy the letterbox 'brushes' on their own. Get some of those and a couple of blank power point fascias cut to the required size and there you go.

cant you chop the plug off, thread it through the other way and then reconnect the plug?

I've used the brush letterbox covers you can buy from Focus/B&Q/Homebase etc very cheaply.

Excellent for the job and big enough to slot a plug through with a bit of jiggling.

Also looking at the ones recommended by Mark above. I think you'd probably get a plug through there, if you thread it through earth pin first and jiggle it you might/should be OK.

I love the confidence of that sentence maybe you should have added a perhaps in there just to completely remove any potential liability

I think i will have a look in B&Q, its not that im a stingy aberdonian or anything, its just £33 for a hole? seems excessive

I used one of these in my ceiling yesterday to feed the cable through for my projector. Two minute job to cut the hole. The inner face comes out to allow plugs through. Cost £2.99.

Al, you can get a 13 amp plug through those brush faceplates as I have just fitted one this week. I just bought the single gang size and I have fed the following through it:

1 x power lead
1 x ariel lead
2 x hdmi cables
1 x scart cable
1 x phono lead
1 x component lead
3 x speaker cables
