Home Cinema (lighting & tv unit?) please help

Hi guys,

I'm recently moving into a brand new 2 bedrm house and want to set up a home cinema, it wont be anything that professional (i dont have the budget quite simply as doing the rest of the house and getting other appliances have me working my bank balance to the max). Also, it wont be as professional compared to most of the users on here, as they do some amazing work to there houses... so well done to everyone

I am looking at currently setting up a 'black and white' theme living room. The living room is quite spacious so at some point want to include a home theartre system also.

Ive been looking on IKEA for mostly stands/storage etc. The best i can come up with and most suitible right now is...

Benno - TV bench with panel (white) £75.00
(photo - http://www.ikea.com/PIAimages/80843_PE205289_S3.JPG)

I chose this design simply as i dont actually want my TV to be fitted to the panel itself (its too big of-a TV anyway, i think ) but the idea i have is much simular to that of ('groove's new lounge' thread - Groove's new lounge with floating wall build - here on the forum) i am thinking of putting either lcd lights behind the panel or rope lighting to add an atmosphere... now the question i have is... or should i say are...

Is the lighting very cost efficient?
Where can i get it from?
and what colour suits (lighting) best for evenings of watching movies...

Thankyou!

No worries, had a rethink, am now using DIODER (led lights) from IKEA... and a large TOBO tv bench with panel also from IKEA.

I might post some photos when it's all set up, give some other people some idea's... should look rather smart, they have it in a showroom at IKEA
