satilite extention leads

Could anyone tell me what I need to buy to extend my sattilite cable so I can move my sky box into my front room thankyou.
would also help if anyone has an idea of the best place to buy from thankyou

You will need to buy some CT100 cable some connectors and a through piece connector. These are available at B&Q.

Did mine (even though manual said you shouldn't do this), think what you need is 1 male F-type and 1 female f-type connector, someone correct me if I've got the name of the plugs wrong.

I couldn't find any locally and ended up ordering from Maplins.

I think the reason it's not advised is so that joe public will order the services of a sky installer. Or I could just be in a conspiricy theory mood.
