Re: ultra matt paint

No direct experience of this paint but I have used "feature wall" matt paint before. My main caveat would be that it is very susceptible to marks - the slightest brush against it will tend to leave a very visible scuff, so be careful where you put it. Try before you do a whole wall, and think long and hard if you have kids. And keep a spare tin for touching up!

Cheers,
MarkP

Re: ultra matt paint

it was the scuffing issue, that had me wondering if anyone had used this before. lucky for me there are no kids. i am planning on having the screen wall + ceiling - black, the other 3 walls blue - so long as its as dark a blue as it looks.

Re: ultra matt paint

i have also been pondering on what to do with the white painted door, that is in the middle of my ulta matt blue wall. Its got a factory paint job on it, that looks like it will be a problem to paint matt blue.
my best idea so far is to hang a black curtain on a portiere rod, which will also act as a bit of a sound damper too.
unless someone has got any other ideas?
