RF remote controlled sockets help?

Can anyone recommend a good set of these sockets, I bought a set from b and q and i just cant get them to work,I am doing the pairing up as they say but nothing.

I want them to be able to work with ikea treitteion lights and low voltage lights. They must be RF standard.

Any ideas.

Re: RF remote controlled sockets help?

I've recently bought the "Bye Bye Standby" three socket and remote control set from Maplins. They work a treat, I've got one on my LG Plasma as it hasn't got a "proper" off switch and one on the Sky box for when the EPG crashes

The other one I've got spare at the mo, might use it for the driveway lights.

There was a warning in the pack when I got it home though, it said that the RF sockets must be one metre apart. That said, I've got the two of them directly opposite each other (nearly touching in fact) on my Belkin 8-way mains extension lead with no problems at all!

All the best
John

Re: RF remote controlled sockets help?

These from TLC-Direct seem to operate via RF.

My IR light switches that I bought from TLC for £18 were £37 in B&Q!

that's very good value for money, unless you were lucky enough to find this in lidl (£9.99), that happens twice in a year
