House options - bare garage or narrowish bedroom

Hi all

I'm looking at buying a house at the moment, mines sold so need to get somewhere sorted.

One I've looked at has an attached Garage(bare brick) of 36' x 8'11" although the large boiler is at the window end so would need to leave a utility area.

The other house has a finished bedroom of 20' x 7'7" narrowing to 5' 5"
this is above the Garage, I think it ends up being 15' x 7'7" effective

Although I've had a look around on the forum would I end up with a bigger cinema in the house with the large Garage, no I'm not stupid I know is longerbut I would ideally want to leave room for the car aswell.

I'm planning on using my CRT PJ and 92" 16:9 screen....

comment and thoughts welcome...

Have a drive in cinema??

Seriously, it depends on the houses. How much use your intended room would get. How many people. and many many other questions..

Okay both houses are detached and the one with the large Garage also has a great lounge of 25' x 13' 6", open plan though to upstairs

I guess it won't be used everyday and most likely no more than 5 people at any one time.

I'm also currently single so....

Go with the large garage - it's wider (even taking into account a further reduction by studding out the walls). You'll want as much width as possible for better separation across the front speakers.
