LCD on Chimney.....

Hi

I know this may well have been covered before, but I can't find it, so my apologies.

Essentially, I've wall mounted my Samsung 40" on my chimney breast, above the open, unused fireplace. At the moment, the cables are resting on the mantlepiece and look horrible.

My plan is to route the cables through the wall, into the chimney itself, then down into the fireplace - in the fireplace I want to install a series of glass shelves to support the AV Kit.....

What I need to know, is there an easy way of running the cables and keeping the holes in the wall as small as possible? I don't want to take out bricks or use a core drill if I can help it. A guy I spoke to some time ago mentioned using a series of BNC connectors on mounting plates on the wall, along with a double power socket...

If I have to make large holes, what is the best way of making them airtight once the cables are installed?

Sorry for all the questions - I just want to make it look tidy!

Thanks
