here goes.
i just had my first lcd tv delivered today (Sammy 32" R88), so un packed it had had it running for about an hour, by which time it was kicking out some serios heat from the top of the unit, which i assume is fairly normal.
The problem comes when i was planning to stud off the chimney breast in my bedroom and flush fit it on a wall bracket with all AV cables pulled through a duct and a hidden socket behind tv. i just think that its gonna be too hot for it to run for long periods of time. any suggestions? as an electrician im thinking along the line of an inline fan in the loft ducted down through the studwork to keep noise levels down.
but any other input would be seriously appreciated, was hoping to have it mounted and decorated by the weekend!!!

I am intending on putting vent holes above the tv to allow the heat to dessipate into the recess in the frame. Should be enough to stop it over heating.

Windows 7 Media Center in false chimney breast and other continuing work.....

this is the style im going with now to solve the heat problems, bought some sweet LED lights to go behing the screen too! just put things on hold for a few days while i decide what extra cables im goign to need for connecting to the lappy, amp etc ( thats if i can decide where im going to put it all!)
