Moving into the garden!

Ive decided to move into the summer house in the garden where ill be able to play music or watch movies at whatever time i want to!

thought id share my progress and mabye get pointers along the way

heres the summer house:

heres my rough plan that i nkocked up on the google sketch thingy:

The Entrance is the square space faceing you and the room at the back has a sink and used to have a portable toilet in but i think ill leave that out of my plan!
I plan to put a desk, bed, long reclining fouton bed thing, projector and screen (which im going to build), internet cable from house, small tv and all the other usual equipment.
Im also putting a stove in to keep me warm!

ill keep you updated as and when i do things although ive got 2 exams before then

Re: Moveing into the garden!

finished exams! just ordered some external cat5e cable, looking for a cable to connect my ps3 to my epson tw10h projector. a hdmi to componant cable would be ideal, found this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Component-HD.../dp/B000N1Z8WQ

but its not long enough, ideally need a 7m or more one. dont even nkow if it would work. was going to buy a z4 from ivojo but they sold the last one on the very day i decided to take the plunge

had the stove people round should be installed end of jully at some point, picked out a nice contempory stove at half the price due to some minor scratches.

in the process of getting some screen material to build my projector screen.

Re: Moving into the garden!

nice thread youve got there!

Ive decided not too make a screen anymore due to the fact that ive got a massive tv. Its basicly a projector anyway but in a houseing.

I did buy some screen material from ebay which i was going make into a fixed frame. Instead I made a frame for the picture instead.

here are some pictures (I need to clean)

Still need to install an aerial and run an internet cable from the house , got a tempery one which goes under a few doors and through a few windows! other than that and a few touch up jobs with some paint im done. mabye add a few more pictures.
