I have found some good ideas on here of how to fit a flat screen into a false wall. however im looking to fit mine into a stud wall. behind the wall is a small cupboard.

Im hoping to fit my skybox in this cupboard and use the magic eye gadget so only the tv is on show.

any ideas or links are most welcome

Do you want the screen flush with the wall? or like mine (see my thread Mini project - Bedroom wall hung LCD - pics inside.

Depends how deep your stud wall is I guess. As for the skybox etc., should be fine.

looks good, im looking to build the screen into the wall so its flush. maybe put a frame round it.

I'd be concerned about heat build up if it was right in and tight round the screen.

thats mine on the wall, by no means flush, but sits real close, and all cables hidden. I will be getting shot of stand below in the near future, but looking for something suitable to replace it isnt easy...

I know someone who tried it with a samsung and it kept breaking down, I think a lot of them draw air up from the base and out the top.

The flush fits Ive seen done by interior designers are actually offered up from behind the wall so there is a recess, the thinner the wall the better in this case, which is sometimes filled with a sheet of glass so the glass is true flush with the wall.

Dunno about putting glass in front its only gunna as for more reflection
