My new wall mount should be arriving on Monday. After reading the many posts on here about what fixings to use I am still scared

There seems to be a difference of opinion whether sleeve anchors should be used in breezeblock walls. I think I will go with 100mm ones. What do you recommend for mounting a Pio 434hde?

Also my hubby is going to channel the wall out to allow for the power lead and dvi to the tuner box. Is it best to put these into a piece of copper piping first to help with removal at a later date? If so how do you do this if the power lead has a fixed plug?

By the way its on an outside wall and there are no joists at all in the wall. Just the dab technique and about half inch gap between the plasterboard and breezeblock.
