Epomans Extension

Still very much a work in progress, but I've got my screen in and my cables chased into the walls in my new extension.

A few pics (click to expand).

My 8' tab tensioned Owl screen is in the ceiling void. I was going to try to find a way to trapdoor it but decided to go completely stealth. Part of the ceiling (you can see where it's still wet) is a small piece of plasterboard so if anything goes wrong I will be able to access the screen without taking the whole ceiling apart.

Ignore the window. Thats going to be covered up or removed so my Panasonic 50PHD8 can go there.

You can just see the IR receiver which is in the void on the right.

Re: Epomans Extension

This is where the PJ will go. I've chased in HDMI (15m Supra), Component (15m QED), DVI and S-Video. The red tape is just protecting the silver finish of the Vogel mount. The brush wall plate has not been mounted and I've put it there just to see what it looks like - not sure I like the white and am looking for a different finishing solution. The silver tubing is cable trunking from Ikea.

My in walll M&K SW85's are going to go on the rear wall. It was a bit of a compromise as I couldn't put them on the sides due to the window to the right of the picture and a french door on the left. Speaker cabling is QED Silver Anniversary.

More pics to follow when I get them off my phone and as the install progresses. I've just taken my 50PHD8 down so the builders could plaster the lounge so we're presently watching Sky on a 24" CRT How on earth I'm supposed to watch my new HD-DVD's I don't know!
