Cabling advice needed for new garage conversion

Hi all,

I'm about to get my garage converted but need some advice on the cabling for the PJ and the opportunity to hide the cables etc from the start.

I've seen some RGB phono sockets on ebay which would make connecting the PJ to the source easier - is this a good way of doing it? And if it is - what kind of cable should I use? Should I be thinking of any other cabling for the projector (it's a Sanyo Z2). I've noticed that many of the people on here use Cat5 for much of their cabling - would that be better for this?

Any help appreciated.
Regards,
Pat
