Running cables behind plasterboard without cutting channel

Just in the process of installing an LCD TV in the kitchen. I need to run cables (HDMI, Component, VGA, Scart, power) from the LCD to the cupboard that I'm going to use for equipment. It's about 1.5 metres horizontally to the side of the screen.

I could cut the plasterboard and put in trunking, but is there a simpler way? The walls are plasterboard, dot n dab onto Thermalite. There are no dabs of adhesive on my 1.5 metre run, it seems to be clear. There is also a good gap of around one inch between the board and the Thermalite block.

How can I get the cables from the cupboard to the LCD? I thought something like a telescopic aerial, with a cable clipped to it might work, anyone have any experience of doing this kind of thing?

use a hole cutter and make a hole where you want the cable to go behind the cuboard and behind the tv (so the tv covers it when installed) then rod between the holes. U can use welding rod or buy a set of rods from screwfix.

if you need a more detailed explanation pm me. Hope this helps.

id personally go to b&q and buy your self a piece of mini trunking and use the lid of the mini trunking and tape your cables to it, its the best youll find for dragging cables, its flexible but strong

(just incase your not sure what i mean http://www.pvc.co.za/images/mk%20mini%20trunking.jpg)

im an electrician and do alot of rewires and use nothing but trunking lid to fish cables.
