Starting from scratch

Early in the new year I am looking to totally renew my home cinema system from scratch and am looking to purchase the following: Sony KDL-40W2000 LCD tv, Sony STR-DA1200ES receiver, Kef KHT3005 speakers and the Sony RDR-HXD860 dvd recorder. My question is: will I be able to get sufficient standard dvd upscaling to do the television justice (i.e 1080p) or will I also need to purchase a stand-alone dvd player as well (Denon DVD1930!). Also would it be possible to purchase an additional speaker seperately to enable me to upgrage my system to 6.1? I will have a budget of approximately £4000 and my lounge is around 15ft by 12ft. Your comments would be gratefully appreciated.
With regards

Re: Starting from scratch

For £4k, I would get the following :

* Sony 46" X series - £2459 from here;

* The Kef 3005 speakers and a Denon receiver for £1099, you can purchase a separate Kef speaker for 6.1 for about £110 from the same retailer; and

* The Toshiba HD-E1 HDDVD player for £375

All available for just under £4k.
