Looking for advice on mounting Tv?

So after recently purchasing a 42Px60 Im gonna decorate and place things alittle better in the room!

I really want to wallmount the plasma but the problem is I have plasterboard walls, is this a bad idea?

How would I go about mounting it, would these fancy plasterboard plugs take the weight, or is there something better out there?

Any advice welcome!

Oh and Im not sure if Ive put this in the right forum, if I have please move!

You could try a sheet of 3/4 inch ply.Mark around it and cut out your plasterboard and insert plywood, screwing directly onto stud work. Ideally, at least 4-6 fixing points to give you a strong base for your bracket.

I'd advice going back a few pages in this 'diy' area of the forums or maybe even doing a forum search for posts that would help you!

Theres so many of them, probably why you only have one reply as we keep seeing the same post pop up all the time
