Cavity Wall Sound Proofing

Does anyone know if the expanding foam which is injected into cavaity walls to help prevent heat loss will also help with sound proofing the room?

Re: Cavity Wall Sound Proofing

You could ask to see the data, but while foams are advantagous for thermal insulation, they are not as effective for acoustical isolation
