Rich's Basement Saga

Hi all,

I have read so many reports on here I thought it only fair to give something back and write my own.

Having moved into my new house a few months back after almost 5 months of Home Automation work, cabling and decoration, it is now time my attention moved to the basement.

I will go into detail about the fun gadgets already installed elsewhere in the house at some point but for the moment I want to focus on the basement.

The idea is to turn it into a Cinema, a seoerate games and gym area, and a small storage room/pantry. Ther are 2 high windows that from a room arrangement pov I want to ignore.I want the Cinema to be able to seat 8 to 12 on 2 or 3 rows. I have a 104" screen, a HD projector, M&K speakers etc all ready so kit is ready to go, its room layout and the design of the finish i need to resolve.

Anyway a floorplan is attached.

I look forward to peoples suggestions

Re: Rich's Basement Saga

From memory Inzaman's thread is well worth a look for possibilities.
