Mounting 13kg speakers to a partition wall :(

I posted this in another thread asking about alternative speakers:

"I know this sounds crazy but I've just bought 2 MA Centres to act as my rear speakers. To cut a long story short, the partion wall at the back of my sitting room is too weak to add any shelves (to house my new speakers)."

I haven't had a great response so I was just wandering if there is anyway I could still mount these sepakers to the wall? I just know if I could get these up and running my system wouldsound friggin' awesome

Re: Mounting 13kg speakers to a partition wall :(

1) Locate the partition studs. they will be regularly spaced.

2) Fix your speaker brackets / shelf to the studs.

- Over-engineer the supports as much as possible, and ensure the load is distributed as vertically as possible, so as not to create too much 'pull' (rotational force) on the higher screws.

Does this help or am I teaching you to suck eggs?!

Are the speakers designed to work against a wall, this could lead to an increase in the bass which may or may not be useful
