which plate???

Hi all,

I want to have my speaker cable under the new floor and to come up behind the new skirting board (which will be about an inch off the all as any plates in the wall will affect soundproofing) and into a plate on the skirting board itselt - then plug the speakers into that plate.

I have found a website that does plates (http://www.counter-act.co.uk/acatalo...on_Plates.html) but are there any particular types I should avoid or go for?
I want to bi-amp/bi wire the speakers as I feel this improves the sound, so I assume I should go for the 4 phono socket plates, Ref 20-1194?

Cheers everyone

Neil

Re: which plate???

I would post this in the DIY section as some of the guys in there that have done HC Conversions would have done something similar. I would have thought it would be better to run the cables direct though.

I recently renewed my light fittings from these guys and noticed that I could get Co-ax, telephone, speaker connections and finish them with a decorative face plate. The connector plates just clip in.

This might also be what you are after:
