Question Wiring for Front Room

Hi all,

new to this website, what a great site!

Anyway i am looking to change my front room to have the same layout as this link but using a plasma instead:

Home Cinema DIY design software

All i really need to know is my system is going to include 42" Plasma, Surround Sound, Sky +, Computer, DVD Player and also space for a new Playstation 3 when released!! I want to hide all the wiring and want to know what wiring i will need to put in place? and how best to manage it???

Cheers

Re: Wiring for Front Room

Sorry a bit confusing, this is exactly what i am looking to do to my front room-

Recent TH37PV500 Install....pretty basic

I have attached an image showing my wiring layout, just have a few questions:-

1/ Will it work?
2/ What cabling do i need to connect the plasma in room 2 to the media centre extender?
3/ Will this allow the following, Room 1 access to Media Centre PC, Sky & Playstation / Room 2 access to Sky & Media Centre PC / Room 3 access to Sky?
4/ Anybody have any recommendations that will improve the wiring structure?

Cheers
Craig

Re: Wiring for Front Room

If I was going to do it again I wouldn't drop all the wires down the piping I'd find another way of doing it. It's not a great solution. Also if you are making a box for the AV equipment give yourself plenty of depth. The wires ate the back take up much more space than I thought they would and mine is really squash in there. I'd have been be better off building a couple of extended shelves outwards so I didn't hae to compromise my choice in amplifier.
