My project

Hi Guys.

What a great forum, been following for a few months now and thought i better show you what i have been up to!

The plasterer is due back this week (hopefully) and then i can decorate.

As we are doing up the whole house my intention is to put a cheapo carpet down and then replace as and when the rest of the house is finished.

Re: My project

Hi

Nothing special with the lighting, just 12No 35w downlighters on a single dimmer.

Either side of the false chimney breast are single wall-lights. Current favourites are some rally simple ones from Wickes that are about 250mm tall x 180mm wide with a curved front. These allow light out at the top and bottom and as they are made of a ceramic can be painted to match the wall.

The rear speakers will be in ceiling units with Kef being the preferred units at the moment due to their small size. http://www.hifibitz.co.uk/product.asp?id=3997

Re: My project - Some updated pics

The plasterer arrived on Sat and did a superb job so i have put the remaining coving up and started to paint the walls.

The plan is to get the plasma in and working by the weekend.
