In Bedfordshire you got Autotronics Car Audio shop, 201 London road Bedford.

Hertfordshire you got Herts Car Audio it is on the road out of hitchen and towards Stevenage.

DNDservices (Car Audio) in Stevenage www.dndservices.co.uk

These and other places are in the Yellow pages under Car Audio.

What do you need Black cloth for?

I am in Bedfordshire as well and am building a farly nice 5.1 system piece by piece I am about 1/2 way through and will be finished in the next month.

I currently have.

Lg3200e DVD player.
Denon 355 UK Amplfier.
Mission M73 Floostanding Mains.
21 inch 4:3 Television. (soon to be 28 inch widescreen)
Radio Shack Analog SPL meter.

I have just perchased a Denon 1802, I waiting for delivery of the amp. This will be matched to a M7c2 center and m7ds surrounds.

To crown the HC will be a DIY built IPL Acoustics SW2 subwoofer for the deep bass, I have still not chosen what finnish for the outside of the subwoofer.

Good Luck.

cheers micb3rd m8... gonna give them a try as the sound gallery is £15 a meter, just wanna compare prices....

where in beds are you, im in Leighton buzzard and im also about 3/4 finnished

I want the cloth just to finnish off my speaker grills, during the day you can just make out there is something behind the grills. I have cresta 1,s as mains and they have a gold badge which is just visible

Im gonna be a bit bored when ive finnished my HC project, I loved building it, and it was a great way out of getting out of going shopping with the missus as well.

And Ive just got my finnishing touch a dts plaque for the wall...

All the best with your HC build

I am in Shefford about 10 miles north of Hitchin.

DTS Plaque... I bet that looks good.

I want to make by front wall grey with carpet.

I am not sure where to put my rear speakers on the side walls or the back wall.

I have a huge Pulp Fiction poster to place on the back or side wall once more of the speakers are positioned.

I have half of the equipment but I have lot of fitting and calibrating to go to get close to the end product.

i know shefford,i used to drink in the white swan (by the river)..

plaque looks ok, but its massive....

maybe when your finnished we should have a sound clash and rate each others system...lol

We tried this with a couple of mates of mine but we just kept saying that our systems sound the best (as you do)

If you need a hand or anything let me know...not that I know a lot but if i can help i will

Found It!

It was on my other PC. Here is the reply i got sent;

Thank-you for your interest in DTS.

We sell the large black & gold plaques, which can be seen on the website (www.dtsonline.com). These are available directly from the UK at a cost of £34.66 including post & packing. Alternatively we have a small card plaque in black & red, which can be sent at a cost of £4.00 to cover handling and post & packing.

If you would like to be sent either of the plaques, please send a cheque made payable to DTS (UK) Ltd, Unit 5, Tavistock Industrial Estate, Ruscombe Lane, Twyford, Berks, RG10 9NJ, UK along with your full postal address and a contact telephone number.

With regards
Carol Blyth

I don't know if you folks are still looking for speaker cloth, but has anybody looked at or tried Maplin Electronics? They sell two types an open and a close weave, all for £1.99 per 1/2 meter in 40 " and 60" widths depending on the type.
Take a look at http://www.maplin.co.uk.
Bob.

DTS delivery

Haven't ordered one yet. I saw the link and kept the details for ther near future. My HC is still 50 blocks short of a 4 walled building, then there's the roof, floor, decor...etc, etc...

Sorry to be of no use.

Mike
