I posted earlier regarding gas fires.

What are your thoughts on flueless gass fires below the screen?

The screen will be recessed by about 25mm and i intend to put a shelf/mantel in place to.

Just make sure that the display is well ventilated - especially if you plan on recessing it - and you should be ok.

Also be wary about mounting the display too high. Looking up to watch a movie or TV show quickly becomes tiring.
