SPL Meter

Not sure if this is the right forum but here goes...

Is it possible to use a microphone connected to the soundcard on a pc to act as a SPL Meter.

you can but its far from ideal,a spl meter would be a better option and give more accuret results

depends on your spl! The consumer standard type ones we have are relatively inaccurate plus have limited low level range.
