Wall mounting Pioneer 506XDE plasma

A friend and myself are trying to mount a Pioneer 506XDE using a Tech Link TWM2 bracket: http://www.techlink.uk.com/isupport%202.htm

Thing is, in order to make the mount fit the six holes on the back of the panel, one of the sliding arms of the mount has to be turned 180-degrees and fitted the other way, causing the whole assembly to sit about 10cm to one side.

Is this normal with this panel, or have we got the wrong mount?
