Not sure which forum this should be in but hopefully it will suit here.

I have installed a LCD TV onto my bedroom wall and all the cabling is hidden except that the LCD has a transformer which I cannot hide.

I have tried attaching the transformer to back of the LCD with double side tape, gaffer tape and sticky pads but because of the heat from the transformer NOTHING will keep it attached to the back of the TV.

I am now thinking of using velcro and and attaching it to the wall but I am still doubtful this will work.

Can anyone suggest anything??

We normally use sticky cable tie bases for this job:-

Something like this

Which can either be screwed to a surface or stuck on using the supplied sticky pads.

A couple of cable ties then pass through them and around your transformer.

You could put one or two screws into the wall and tie the transformer with a bit of string.
