Hanging 32 inch Samsung to plaster wall?

Hi,

First post! I am looking for advice on hanging Samsung 32 to a plaster wall. I have tapped the wall to try and figure out where the joists are but none the wiser. I guess i have to position the bracket where i want the tv.

Where is best place to get a flush wall bracket and what screws should i use consideing bracket is only attaching to a plaster wall (possibly without joist). Will this be safe??

Many Thanks!!

You really need to find out what the wall is made of. It could be stud and plasterboard, dot and dab plasterboard on block, lath and plaster, plastered block or brick, etc.

Is it an internal, party, or external wall?
How old is the house?
What is the outside of the house made of?
Is it an upstairs or downstairs room?
Is it a house or a flat?

Fixing solutions range from 4 screws and rawlplugs (external brick/heavy block wall with plaster) to strip a section off and build a new wall (lath and plaster or rubble masonry with lime plaster).
