What Do You Recommend?

I am planning on building a Movie Room/Bedroom so that I can relax, watch films, sleep and surf the net and other general PC hobbies.

What I need is advice on what kind of Sound and Visual setup I should be getting, and the positioning. Also, bear in mind what I will be using the display for.

Here is a plan, with measurments, of my room. This is to scale too! .

The "Hole" to the right is a chimney breast which is all filled in, the bottom one is the window, and to the right is the door.



I thought it might be a good idea to have the display on the chimney wall and then knock that in again to hold my PC and hide wires, then have a really nice wall mounted surround system with the rear speakers on the opposite wall were a sofa bed will be.

Edit: What kind of display is best for General PC use and a little graphic design?
