Linking a DVD player to two seperate amps

Is this possible?

I want to put a cinema amp in 1 room and a seperate amp for music only driving speakers in two other rooms, connected to 1 source (dvd player) rather than a seperate power amp from the pre on the cinema amp.

Or is there a better way?
