PS2 Bass-shaker?

Does anyone have an idea for connecting a bass-shaker up to the vibration channel of a PS2 control pad?

I'm addicted to Gran Turismo 4 (play it on a 51" screen in surround sound for true driving terror!) and it occurred to me that this would give a real seat-of-the-pants feel to the game.

Surely if you just run it through an amp.

A bit OT but if you like Gran Turismo 4 you should play Forza on Xbox when it comes out. It seriously kicks GT4's ass.

On the subject of GT4, a few of my mates at work are raving about playing it with a driving force pro steering wheel/pedals. They reckon the force feedback is really strong and it makes the game feel so realistic. Think it's made by joytech, 900 degree so 2.5 turns, think I'd have a go with someone elses before I bought one but they reckon it really is very VERY good.

OFF TOPIC!

Sorry garrad.

Once again before this decends into another endless X vs Y argument, does anyone know how to do this?
