What is the cost to import a sub driver frm the US?

Can some one advise the total cost % for importing a sub driver from the US.
I will have to pay VAT @ 17.5% but what is the duty on these items?

Thanks

Some things also get 6% import duty, but I'm not sure what that applies too, plus you'll probably get charged £10 'handling fee' from the delivery company.

So if you calculate for a total additional cost of 23% plus £10 over the cost of the sub, then you should be about right for a worst case scenario.

Can you not get it send as a "gift". Im sure if it's marked up as one then you don't have to pay squat.

Not all companies will do that though, but if they do, you're laughing.
